Wendi L. Fisher, age 42 years, of Oxford, died on Sunday, October 18, 2009 at the Divine Savior Healthcare in Portage. She was born on May 23, 1967 in Stoughton to Clarke and Bonita (Anderson) Petersen. She graduated from Wisconsin Dells High School in 1985. Wendi lived in Oxford most of her life where she was a receptionist for Portage Plastics the past 6 years and was also a bar tender at Pride Of America Campground. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandson. Survivors include her son, Kevin D. Schoffel and fiancé Cortney Adler of Oxford; grandson, Rhyland D. Schoffel; parents, Pete and Bonnie Petersen of Oxford; grandfather, William Anderson of Oxford; special partner, Michael Adler; other relatives and by "All the Hearts She has Touched." She was preceded in death by a brother, Christian Petersen, grandmother, Virginia Anderson, grandparents, Otto and Charlotte Petersen, nephew, Alexander Petersen, and uncle's Otto Petersen JR and Terry Anderson. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 25, 2009 at 1:30 PM at the Picha Funeral Home, Portage with Rev. Dennis Schueler officiating.
