Wayne Donald Sloggy, age 83 passed away peacefully at his home on March 30, 2016. Wayne was born December 21, 1932 in Pacific Township to the late Addison and Florence Sloggy.  Wayne enjoyed farming, hunting and his family. He was employed at Samuels until his retirement. Wayne is survived by his son Steve Sloggy; stepchildren Linda (John) Millard, Matt (Barbara) Flickner, Tammy (Scott) Benson, 10 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and one great- great grandson. Wayne was preceded in death by his late wife Carol, as well as 2 stepdaughters and 1 grandson. There will be a visitation Saturday, April 2 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM with services to follow at the Picha Funeral Home in Portage.  Burial will be at Pacific Cemetery.
