Vivian Crye, age 73 of Portage, Wisconsin passed away peacefully Friday, June 13, 2014 at Select Specialty Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the Picha Funeral Home in Portage with Carl Sirotzki officiating. Burial will be at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Portage. Visitation will be held at Picha Funeral Home on Thursday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Vivian was born October 3, 1940 in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin the daughter of Joseph and Flora (Colby) Rasch. In August of 1963 she married Neil Crye. For many years she worked as a nurse's aide at nursing homes and at residences which she also enjoyed doing. Her family was special to her, being together for holidays and family gatherings and just spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Vivian is survived by her children, Vickie (Andy) Lind and Mary (James) Konzel both of Portage, Joann (Mike) Lind of Endeavor, Wisconsin, Ruth (Michael) Brodure of Mauston, Wisconsin, Gerry (Gary) Hull of Packwaukee, Wisconsin and Leonard Crye of Sauk City, Wisconsin; son in law, Dean Shaw of Endeavor; 19 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
