Virginia B. Erickson was born on December 26, 1925. She was raised by Mr. and Mrs. J. Edward Erickson of New Auburn, WI. She is survived by Robert Erickson, her brother by adoption of Crown Point, IN, her half-sister Isabella Boos of Meridian, ID, and Frances Foslien of Hudson, WI. She is also survived by many in-laws, nieces and nephews whom she loved very much. Virginia served the Catholic Church for a number of years as a religious in the order of the Sisters of the Divine Savior. As a nurse, she worked in hospitals in Wausau, West Bend, and Portage. In each of those hospitals, she worked as Director of Nursing Services, completing her career in that capacity at Divine Savior Healthcare in Portage, WI. Virginia, or Ginny as she was lovingly known, had many interests and hobbies including gardening, home repair and maintenance, and drawing. She also loved dogs, being around them and caring for them. Ginny shared many special moments over coffee with her neighbors. She was an avid Green Bay Packers fan who never missed a game and could be seen coaching them from her livingroom. She will be remembered with love by her family, friends, and neighbors as an intellegent, loving, kind, and gentle woman.
