Sylvia Joyce Sieg, age 85 years of Packwaukee, died on Sunday, July 31, 2011 at Tivoli Care Center in Portage. She was born on April 22, 1926 in Prairie du Sac to Paul and Emma (Blawusch) Gallus. Sylvia had worked for the Department of Natural Resources Forestry Department before her retirement. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Packwaukee and enjoyed cooking and crocheting bed dolls. She was united in marriage to Albert Sieg on December 10, 1998. Survivors include her husband, Albert of Packwaukee; 7 children - James (Aloma) Shears of Tennesse, Thomas (Beverly) Shears of Tennesse, Randall (Harriett) Shears of Oklahoma, Gary Shears of Oklahoma, Peggy Lynn Shears of DeForest, Jack Pearson of Verona and Jeffrey Pearson of Janesville; 13 Grandchildren; Numerous Great Grandchildren; and a Sister - Dorothy Jones of Madison. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother - Robert and two sisters - Lillian and Margie. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at 11:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Packwaukee with Rev. John Brogaard officiating.
