Stanley (Tom) Simmons age 83 of Pardeeville, WI passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at home with his family by his side. Tom was born on March 20, 1934 in Chicago, IL to Peter and Josephine (Barges) Simmons. Tom married Patricia A. Larsen on June 14, 1953 in Chicago, IL. Tom worked and provided for his family as an over the road truck driver. After moving to Pardeeville, WI in 1990, Tom worked for Zinke Dray Line and later enjoyed working at the Portage Country Club. Tom was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Portage for about 20 years. Tom was a hard-working man with a great sense of humor, who always put his family first. Tom enjoyed being outside and playing golf. Tom was better known as "Papa" by all his grandchildren. Tom is survived by his wife of 64 ½ years Patricia of Pardeeville,WI; Children: Deb (Judy) Fudaley of Rio,WI; Sherry (Ron) Ciefredo of Pardeeville,WI; Tom Simmons of Woodbury, TN; Connie (Billy) Delaney of Genoa City, WI; Patti (Muzzy) Conhartoski of Hurley, WI; Grandchildren: Dean (Raetta) Fudaley; Shawna (Mike) Kong; Nicole Ciefredo; John Ciefredo; Krystle (Chad) Walker; Thomas (Ally) Conhartoski; Cory (Ellyn) Conhartoski; Kyle (Emily) Simmons; Trever Conhartoski; Dylan Conhartoski; Cheyanne Schulze, sixteen great grandchildren, and his "little girl" (dog) Sandi. Tom is preceded in death by his parents and only brother Tony Novak. A special thank you goes out to Agrace Hospice from the family, for making Tom so comfortable in his home during his final days. Cremation of Stanley Thomas Simmons has already taken place. A Mass will be held on Tom's birthday, Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Faustina Parish (St. Mary's Catholic Church) in Pardeeville, WI with Father Marchin Kordel officiating.
