Scott Anthony Alt, age 46, of Portage, left this earth to be with his precious daughter Nikki in heaven, on Tuesday, October 28, 2014. He was born January 2, 1968 the son of Roger and Sandra (Kraemer) Alt.   Scott graduated from Madison West High School in 1986 and later married his high school sweetheart - the love of his life, Joanne (Indermark) Alt on October 21, 1989.    Scott was a compassionate, fun loving and generous man who would do anything to help a neighbor and or friend. He was a committed, faithful and caring husband who loved his wife and their son with all of his heart. Scott loved spending time with his family, dog Rouster and countless friends. He had a passion for the outdoors; loved getting out on the four wheeler and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Scott enjoyed working in the infamous Alt Barn and spending countless hours on his land.   An industrious talented craftsman: Scott was respected by all who worked with and for him. He was the President of TR McKenzie, Inc. where he had been a longtime employee.    Scott is survived and beloved by his wife Joanne (Indermark) Alt & son Tanner Alt; his parents Roger and Sandra Alt; his sister Melanie Alt & nephew Tyler Shanks; his brother Ryan Alt and many aunts, uncles, cousins and a loving group extended family and friends.   Scott was preceded in death by his daughter Nikki, grandparents Herbert & Viola Alt and Francis & Mary Jane Kraemer and an uncle Kent Kraemer.   Scott was a loving and supportive father and husband - he was their provider and protector.
