Portage, Wisconsin Rosellia Minnie Irene (Spaudie) Radtke, 86, passed away peacefully Friday, May 1, 2015 at The Heritage House in Portage. Rosellia was born June 2, 1928, in Portage, to William and Minnie Spaudie. On June 14, 1946, she was united in marriage to George H. Radtke. He preceded her in death December 15, 2006. Through the years, Rosellia was employed at Weyenberg Shoe Factory, drove school bus for the Portage School District, worked at Porter House Supper Club and Badger Ammunition Plant. Rosellia helped out for many years with Meals on Wheels in Endeavor. Rosellia was a loving mother, grandma, great-grandma and great-great grandma. More recently, she enjoyed all the activities at the Heritage House in Portage, especially participating in ringing bells and bingo. Survivors include three children, Mary Ann (Roy) Feltz of Madison, Larry Radtke of Endeavor and Wanda (Stuart) Russell Jr. of Portage; Grandchildren, Bren (Gary) Radtke of Madison, Karen (Paul) Nerhing of Deerfield, Kenneth (Cindy) Johnson of St. Francis, MN, Jennifer (Mike) Fountain of Poynette, Mandy (Darren) of Fort Atkinson, Nathan (Krista) Russell of Portage, Carrie Rose of Sun Prarie, Michelle (Duane) Leofilos of Montello, 28 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. Sister-in-law, Eileen Zantow of Janesville, nieces and nephews, and many friends of various ages. In addition to her husband and parents, Rosellia was preceded in death by her daughter, Sheila Kay Huskins, a brother, Arnold Spaudie and a sister, Hilda Baerwolf and Cathy Harman (Larry's sole mate.) A memorial service and celebration of Rosellia's life will be held Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Moundville United Methodist Church at 11:00 AM. The Rev. Julie Wilson will be officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30-11:00 AM at the church prior to the service on Tuesday. The Picha Funeral Home-Portage (www.picha.com) is assisting the family with arrangements. The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers at Portage Heritage House, Care Wisconsin and Southern Care for their incredible care, compassion, patience and support of Rosellia. Rosellia lived a simple life always caring aboutn others. We are so glad God gave us a wonderful woman to be in our lives... we will miss her dearly.
