ENDEAVOR -- Roberta "Buckie" Dawn Simerson, 73, of Endeavor, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2015. Buckie was born March 1, 1942, to Emery and Lillian (Pollitt) Simerson in Portage. Buckie worked at the shoe factory, and she enjoyed fishing, hunting and socializing. She is survived by her brother, Lawrence (Joanne) Simerson; sisters, Lila Barton (Fiancé Tom Smith), Marge Putman and Jane (Gene) Herrington; and special friend, Blanche Fluette. Roberta was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers; and one sister.
