Robert Guy Rupers Robert Guy Rupers, 86, passed away at his Pardeeville, WI home on Wednesday, July 29, 2015. He was born on August 14, 1928, to Guy F. & Elizabeth (Thompson) Rupers in Milwaukee, WI. Robert is survived by his son, David R. Rupers (Pamela) of Tacoma, WA; his son, Daniel R. Rupers (Laura) of Hull, GA; his son, Dennis R. Rupers of Pardeeville, WI; his daughter, Denise R. Trevorrow (Thomas) of Pardeeville, WI; his son, Dean R. Rupers of Kewaunee, WI; his brother, Thomas Rupers (Barbara) of Sheridan, OR; his sister, Ellen (Douglas) Kraus of Lady Lake, FL; as well as 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepmother, Viola (Kluchesky) Rupers; and his sister, Mildred (Gene) Halastava. Robert was raised in Waukesha, WI, until age 17, when his parents moved to Pewaukee, WI. Robert joined the Army in 1947, where he served in Korea and Japan; he was honorably discharged in 1951. Robert met his wife, Patricia, while attending Pewaukee Baptist Church. They were married on March 15, 1952. They moved to Waukesha, WI, where they raised 5 children. In 1985, after having served in the Wisconsin Air National Guard for nearly 34 years, Robert retired. He and Patricia lived out their retirement years in Bowling Green, KY, and Sun City, AZ. After his beloved Patsy passed away in October 2012, Robert moved back to Wisconsin to live with his daughter and son-in-law. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and love for the Lord Jesus Christ and the gospel of the grace of God. A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, August 8, 2015, at DeForest Evangelical Free Church in DeForest, WI.
