Portage, Wisconsin   Rob E. "Ace" Fahey age 54 of Portage, WI died unexpectedly on January 18, 2024. Rob was born on June 9, 1969, in Portage, Wisconsin to Thomas and Nora (Vesely)Fahey. Rob's parents moved into town to a house located in front of Pauquette Park and the Wisconsin River. Over the years they spent many weekends as a family on the river. Parents would take all four boys on "sand bar trips" up River Road, before they would go, mom and dad would go to KFC and get a bucket of chicken for the sand bar. Spring/Summer/ Fall and Winter would go; Ace spent many hours in the park or on the river fishing. Once older, Ace took many trips to northern Wisconsin to fish for Musky. Fall would come then Packer season was here! Ace enjoyed watching the Packers, and later became a season ticket holder, attending many home games. Ace would be most generous at Christmas time and give gifts to all the nieces and nephews. Ace was a person that always had a smile for people he would meet, he would spend many hours throwing a pot on his pottery wheel and would later sell them at a craft fair or give them to people he knew. Rob is survived by three brothers; Thomas Church, Patrick (Mary) Fahey and Mark (Jean) Fahey; nieces and nephews Brooke (Tanner) Mulock; Ryan (fiancé Megan) Fahey; Addison Fahey and Wesely Fahey.
