Richard Harold Voight age 84 of Portage, WI died on Saturday October 8, 2016 at the Veterans Hospital in Madison, WI Richard was born in Portage, WI on October 17, 1931 to Harold and Gladys (Witt) Voight. Richard served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He then married Marina E. Quinones on May 24, 1958 in St. John's Lutheran Church in Portage, WI Richard enjoyed watching sports, liked spending time fishing and found relaxation in carving wood ducks and birds. He was a proud member of the VFW. But most of all he loved his church. Richard was a lifelong member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Portage, WI and has always made that a big part of his life. Richard is survived by his wife Marina of Portage, Children Michael Voight of Tulsa, OK; Vickie Raymond of Montello, WI; Kevin (Lisa) Voight Apache Junction, AZ; Michele (Brian) Foote of Oshkosh, WI and a daughter in Law Hiromi Voight of Spokane, WA; Seven Grandchildren: Ben (Fiancé Jorja) Raymond; Emily (Jonathan) Krueger; Katie Raymond, Jordan, Samantha and Sydney Foote and Jeremy Voight: one great grandchild Mackenzie Raymond. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Ken and Larry and a son Kenneth. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday October 12, 2016 in the St. John's Lutheran Church in Portage, WI with Pastor Greg Hovland officiating, Public visitation will be held from 5:00 till 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday October 11, 2016 in the Kratz Funeral Home in Portage.
