Richard R. Biech, age 71, passed away at his home with his family at his side on November 28, 2017. God said, "Well done my Good and Faithful Servant."   He was born on July 1st, 1946 to Kenneth and Bernice (Belter) Biech. Dick married Betty (Domke) on December 21, 1968 in Rock Springs, WI.  His love for his home in the Baraboo Bluffs was evident to anyone who knew him.  Baraboo, "home of the clowns" he would often say as he had a great sense of humor!!  He thoroughly appreciated and enjoyed where he was raised and later built their home on part of the home farm in his bluffs forest land. Dick loved God's Creation, Farmall Tractors, building his own creations and hunting but most of all he loved to help people. Much time was spent in his virgin forest land that he loved to share. Dick attended grade and high school in Baraboo.   His high school agriculture instructor encouraged him to attend University of Wisconsin-River Falls where he graduated with a Bachelor's of Science degree in 1969. He was an excellent mechanic and could design, build and repair most anything.  He was a very active volunteer at his church specializing in repair and upkeep of the church property.                                    Dick is survived by his wife Betty of Baraboo, two daughters, Gwen (Nick) Stipetich of Atlanta, Georgia, Donia (Mike) Meyer of Columbus, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Jordan and Jacob Stipetich, and Merick and Mesa Meyer; mother, Bernice (Belter) Biech; mother-in-law, Florence (Sander) Domke; nephews, Thad (Randi) Biech, Brett Domke, Caton Domke and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Kenneth, brother, Kenneth John, nephew Shane Biech, father-in-law, Obert Domke, and brother-in-law, Kenneth Domke.             Funeral service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Portage, WI  Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until time of service at the church.
