Town of Dalton, Raymond Charles Wiser age 73 of Dalton, WI died on Friday September 2, 2016 at his home. Raymond was born in Portage, WI on November 12, 1942 to Leonard and May (Best) Wiser. Raymond married Jeanette Dalton who preceded him in death. Ray worked and retired from the United States Post Office, where he was a sorter in the Portage office. He later became a driver for CESA, but stopped due to health reasons. Raymond is survived by his sister Kathleen Culver of Baraboo; Brother Randall (Myra) Best of Portage; niece Jennifer (Dean) Miller, nephew Joshua (Carla) Best; niece Nicole Best and great nieces Kalli Best, Danika Miller and Kourtney Best. Also survived by his wife's family; Ruth (Edmond) Spaeth, Rosemary (Andy) Rosales, Mark Dalton, Kathryn (Robert) Weismann, Francis (Diana) Dalton, Gerald (LuAnn) Dalton, Leila (David) Smith and Dorothy (Danny) Starker. Raymond is preceded in death by his parents, wife Jeanette Dalton, and a Brother in law Michael Dalton. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. in the St. John's Lutheran church in portage, WI. Rev. Greg Hovland will be officiating.
