Ralph Emmett "Buck" Huston, age 73 years of Pardeeville, died on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the Divine Savior Hospital. He was born on January 11, 1941 in Haugen, WI to Charles and Hildegarde (Smith) Huston. Buck has lived in the Pardeeville area for many years where he was a semi-driver for 35 years for General Beverage and later for Portage Industries. He was united in marriage to Beverly Horton on March 21, 1964 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Portage. Buck was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, bowling, watching the Packers and was inducted into the Portage Bowlers Hall of Fame. He also proudly served in the US Army for 2 years stationed in Germany. Survivors include his loving wife of 49 years, Beverly of Pardeeville, 3 children, Jeff (Laurie) Huston of Portage, Julie (Keith) Horan of Portage and Paul (Sue) Huston of Pardeeville, 7 grandchildren, Tiffany, Heather, Rebecca, Keith JR, Melissa, Lowell and Cole, 4 great grandchildren, Jada, Maurice, Dominic and Parker, sister, ZIlla "Kit" Harsh of Pardeeville, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a son, Charles in 1965, parents, brothers, Milo, Paul "Doc", Carl and Bill, and a sister, Marge Grotzke. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at 12 Noon at St. John's Lutheran Church, Portage with Rev. Alan Boeck officiating. Burial with military rites by the Portage area veterans will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery, Portage. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 10 AM until 12 Noon. Service Details.
