Phyllis Marie Floer, age 69 years of Oxford, WI died on Thursday, June 3, 2010 at her residence. She was born on March 27, 1941 in Big Rapids, MI to Murray and Lorna (Sobotta) Bovay. Phyllis grew up in Muskegon, MI graduating from Muskegon High School. In September 1991, Phyllis was united in marriage to Karl Floer in Richmond, IL; he preceded her in death on January 10, 2007. In 1995 they moved to a home in the country in the Oxford area from Richmond, IL. She had worked for Intermatic Manufacturing and enjoyed bird watching and camping. Survivors include 2 Sons - Wayne Horton of Round Lake, IL and Matthew Horton of Twin Lakes, WI and Grandchildren, 2 Brothers - Roger Bovay of Sioux Falls, SD and Aaron Bovay of North Muskegon, MI; 3 Sisters - Elaine Bovay-Gemoll of Oxford, Vicki Bovay of Fremont, MI and Jeanette Rush of Fremont, MI. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church, Montello with Rev. Pete Zietlow officiating. Burial will follow at the Eastside Cemetery, Montello.
