Pat Dowsey Lodi,WI- Heaven has a new angel in it--Patrick Dowsey. Many of you knew him as "one of the boys", that I grew up with. Pat was an incredibly special soul who did not have a mean bone in his body. Pat always had a smile on his face and welcomed everybody with a warm hug. He touched everyone who knew him and everyone was richer for knowing him. He was a very gentle soul and will be missed tremendously. Pat arrived to the home of Rev. C.E. and Mrs. Jeanette Allen in 1967. He was welcomed by his new brothers, Bill, Ed, Richard and Robert. Jeff Seaver and Ron Hamus joined the Allen family shortly there after. Robert was less than 2 years old, when Pat became part of the family. They all loved to swim, play basketball, wiffle-ball and wrestle with Robert and his friends. "The boys", were also able to a part of Roberts own children's life, Jessica and Tyler. Sadly, in May of 1998, "the boys" had to leave the Allen home due to Jeanette's failing health. Montello, WI - Pat Dowsey, 55, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends on Friday September 4, 2015. Pat was loved deeply and will be missed very much by his family, Ron Hamus, Jeff Seaver, Bret & Bonnie Esse, Brook Harshman, Bridget Harshman. He will be missed by all of the friends that he made throughout his life. Pat touched many people's lives along his journey. The things that Pat most enjoyed in life were being with family. On our many mini vacations that we took to WI Dells Pat lived to play basketball and swim at the Atlantis Hotel. Pat enjoyed going out to eat and helping bake at home. He also enjoyed outside activities, working in the garden, going to the deer park, and going to the zoo. Pat lived to be the "Class Clown". This was his area of expertiseв?¦ Pat always tried to make everyone he met smile. Although Pat was never able to say or express how much he appreciated the excellent care from the St. Croix Hospice Team we would ALL like to thank them on his behalf. We all were grateful for the care and support that was given to us as a family by our hospice team. A special Thank You to Linda Riggs for giving us spiritual guidanceв?¦right when we needed it.
