Normalee Jo Pounders, age 73, died on Monday, February 5th, 2018 at Columbia Health Care Center in Wyocena. Normalee was born on July 3rd, 1944 in Pardeeville, WI to Kermit Wagner Sr. and Leah (Buzzel) Leudtke. She married James E. Pounders. Jr. on January 11th, 1971. After graduating high school, Normalee attended nurses training through the UW school system. The highlight of her career as an LPN was spent working in nursing homes caring for others. Normalee will be remembered by her love for her family, her cats, cross stitching, magazines and cookbooks. She is survived by her children Cindy Edwards, Robert Pounders, Norma (Ron) Ellinger, Norman Pounders, David (Connie) Pounders, Brenda Wahlen, Nancy (Bill) Zarn, Jackie Bortz, and Jack Jefferson (Christine) Lemke. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren as well as many many great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, James E. Pounders. Jr., her parents, her daughter Mary Lynn Korrell, her great granddaughter Morgan Pounders, and her son-in-law, Kevin Edwards.                 A luminary memorial will be held this summer to celebrate Normalee's life with those she loved. Remembrances can be made to Columbia County Humane Society to sponsor or partially sponsor a cats adoption fee in honor of her pride and joys, her cats, Kiki and Sasha Silvertoes.                 Her family would like to thank the amazing care workers at the Columbia Health Care Center and Agrace Hospice Services for the excellent care that she was given over the past two years.
