Thiessen age 82 of Sautee Georgia, formerly of Portage, WI died on April 30, 2018 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Georgia with her son, husband and other family by her side. Nancy was born on November 13, 1935 in Portage to Elton (Norma Lloyd) Scherbert Sr. She Married Clayton Thiessen in 1981 in Yerington, Nevada. Nancy was a registered nurse for 42 years. Nancy is survived by her Husband Clayton Thiessen of Sautee, Georgia; son Steve Zimmerman of Endeavor,WI; sister Betty Sekley of Portage; brother Elton (Shirley) Scherbert Jr. of Endeavor; one grandchild Jacob Zimmerman and two great grandchildren Trevin and Bryce; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Nancy is preceded in death by her parents and first husband Sheldon Zimmerman Private family burial will be held at a later date.
