Mary M. Chvojicek, age 67, died Monday, January 19, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison following a brief illness. Mary was born on March 22, 1947 to William and Viola (Jarrett) Waite at Divine Savior Hospital in Portage, Wisconsin. She attended Oxford and Adams Friendship elementary school and attended high school in Wisconsin Dells. Mary spent most of her working years waitressing and bartending around the Wisconsin Dells area. In November of 2000, Mary married Lawrence Chvojicek and the two resided in rural Portage. Mary certainly had a flair for life, whether it was going out with her girlfriends, spending time working on her crafts or boasting about her grandchildren. Her charisma and charm were present in every aspect of her life. Mary is survived by her husband Larry, her two sons Scott (Wendy) Klicko of Baraboo and Jason Nielsen and his fiancé Tifanie Stahmer of Endeavor, her sisters Christine (Arthur) Sebastiani of Green Lake and Marlea (Darrell) McCallum of Trinity Texas, two brothers Ronald (Velna) Waite of Adams and David (Linda) Waite of Oxford, two stepchildren Sabrina and Shane, and a dear special friend Sally Conroy and her children Heather and Samantha. Mary has four grandchildren, Justain Olbinski, Gage Klicko, Danna Klicko and Natalie Nielsen. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her son Douglas Noel Olbinski and two brothers Dale and Dennis Waite. Funeral services will be held at the Picha Funeral Home in Portage, Wisconsin on Saturday, January 24th with a visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. Pastor Blake Overlien will be officiating. Internment will be at the Oxford Village Cemetery following the service. A luncheon will be provided at Scooter's Pub and Grill on Jordan Lake starting at 1:00 p.m. Service Details. Visitation
