Mary Ziegler age 77 of the Town of Gale, Born March 5, 1949 to Ben and Lavon (Mahutga) Amundson.

Mary grew up with her family in Norway Valley and attended Arcadia High School.

On August 2, 1969, Mary married Roger Lee Ziegler, beginning a life together filled with family and many treasured memories. Together, they raised three sons: Greg, Craig and Daniel.

Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her family was one of her greatest blessings. Guarantee, if you came into her kitchen hungry you didn’t leave that way.

Mary was deeply rooted in her faith, which remained the source of strength and guidance throughout her life.

Mary is lovingly remembered by her husband, Roger; her sons and their families;

Greg (Sandra) Ziegler, and sons Thomas Ziegler and Austin (Friend Morgan and daughter Posie) Ziegler.

Craig (Kim) Ziegler; and family Kyle (Carmen) Linberg, Aaron (Amanda) Ziegler, (Mila, Dax, and Wells), Rachel (Hunter) Korish (Liam, and Paxton).

Daniel (Kim) Ziegler and family Gauge Griffin and Riley Ziegler.

Also survived by her siblings; Roger (Janet) Amundson of Trempealeau, Helen (Mike) Mikrut of Trempealeau, Bill (Jane) Amundson of Arcadia, sister-in-law Ruth Amundson of Chippewa Falls.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, brothers-in-law LaVerne, Harold, sister-in-law Evelyn and her brother Ken.

Perhaps what will be remembered most is simple Mary – her kindness, her gentle spirit and that unforgettable giggle. Her warmth had a way of making those around her feel loved.

Funeral service will be held for Mary at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Trempealeau, WI. Pastor Lisa Shank will be officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the church.
