Portage, Wisconsin Marcella L. McMillen, age 78, passed away peacefully, at home surrounded by her family. Her three year battle with cancer is finally over. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday January 29, 2015 at the Trinity United Church of Christ in Endeavor, WI with Reverend Marjorie Rice Myers officiating., and a lunch served immediately following the service. Visitation will be at the Picha Funeral Home in Portage, WI, Wednesday night Jan. 28, 2015  from 4 till 7 p.m. and Thursday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. She was born Marcella Lorraine Krueger in Henrietta Township in Richland County, WI on April 26, 1936, the daughter of Raymond Krueger and Nettie (Lounsbury) Krueger. She was united in marriage to Darrell "Mac" D. McMillen on Jan. 4, 1964. Marcella worked many years at Frito Lay factory in Beloit, WI. They moved to Endeavor where she worked at Brakebush and then Ray-0-Vac for many years, and retired from there. She and Mac loved camping with their many, many friends and family. Survivors include: Her very special companion, Jerome "Joe" Nordness, her daughter Christy (Owen) Wade, her sister Beverly Mason, her five grandchildren, Joshua (Jennifer) Wade, Becky Jo Wade, Matthew Wade, Lacey Russell, Bethany Russell and five great grandchildren; Brody Wade, Kyla Hopper, Grayson Hopper, Wyatt Wade, Avery Wade and many other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, sister Lorraine Perkins, brother Earnest "Leroy" Krueger, two daughters, Debra Kay and Vicky Dawn, along with many other relatives.
