Lorraine Helen Hill, age 85 years, of Portage died on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at the Divine Savior Hospital in Portage. She was born on February 25, 1926 in Green Bay to Irving and Wilda (Eyers) Russell. Lorraine was united in marriage to Harold Hill on June 29, 1946 at the Methodist Church Parsonage. She worked as a Lab Technician for AMPI for 24 years, was a member of the Portage United Methodist Church, enjoyed flowers, plants, gardening, traveling and taking care of the house. Survivors include her Husband - Harold of Portage; Daughter - Corrine (Russell) Meier of Monroe; Daughter in Law - Barbara Hill of Portage; 3 Grandchildren - Joshua (Zoe), Melissa and Michelle; Sister - Judy Girling of Wyocena; 2 Brothers - Stuart (Rosemary) Russell of Oxford and Alfred (JoAnn) Russell of Fitchburg. She was preceded in death by 2 sons - Jeffrey and Donald on March 16, 2011, and her parents. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 3, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the Portage United Methodist Church with Rev. Tom Countryman officiating. Burial will follow at the Silver Lake Cemetery, Portage. Friends may call on Sunday at the Picha Funeral Home, Portage from 2 - 4 PM and at the church on Monday from 11:30 Am until 1:00 PM.
