Lois Fay Pfeil, age 78 years, of Green Valley, AZ and formerly of Portage, died on Wednesday, September 23, 2009. She was born on May 29, 1931 to Otto and Myrtle (Fay) Pfeil. Lois was a public school teacher for many years, a member of the Portage United Methodist Church, Wisconsin Retired Educators Association and the American Association University Women. Survivors include cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2009 at 11:00 at the Picha Funeral Home, Portage with Rev. Tom Countryman officiating. Burial will follow in the Silver Lake Cemetery, Portage.
