Linda Ida Packard age 99 of Portage, WI died on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Our House Senior Living in Portage, WI  Linda was born on September 10, 1918 in the Town of Arlington to Charles and Minnie J. (Mielke) Feldhusen. Linda attended Fall River and Arlington grade schools, was a 1936 graduate of Poynette High School. She Married Donald V. Packard on June 28, 1940 at Arlington Lutheran Church, Donald preceded her in death on April 24, 1972 Linda was employed by the State of Wisconsin as a Key Punch Operator for the Department of Revenue. After retirement, Linda enjoyed crocheting, reading, feeding the birds and most of all her view of the changing Wisconsin river. Linda is survived by her Daughter Lynette Jean Farr of Vancouver, WA, five grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Linda is preceded in death by her parents; two sons Roland Carter and Charles Kevin Packard. A memorial service will be held for Linda at Noon on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the Kratz Funeral Home 302 E. Conant Portage. (www.kratzfuneralhome.com) Rev. Greg Hovland will be officiating.
