LeRoy Elmer Hauser, age 87 years, of Oxford, died on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at the American Way in Portage. He was born on May 7, 1923 in Oxford to Fred and Edna (Schult) Hauser. LeRoy served in the United States Army during World War II. He worked for Rheem's Manufacturing for many years in Chicago before retiring to Oxford in the early 1990's. In 1971, LeRoy was united in marriage to Gwendolyn O'Connor; she preceded him in death on October 10, 1999. A visitation will be held on Monday, July 5, 2010 at the Oxford Funeral Home, Oxford from 4 - 6 PM. Military honors will be held at 5 PM at the funeral home by the Oxford VFW.
