LeRoy "Lee" J. Eriksen, age 90 years, of Portage died on Monday, October 19, 2009 at the Divine Savior Extended Care in Portage. He was born on October 28, 1918 in Askov, MN to Christ and Thora (Larsen) Eriksen. On March 30, 1968, Lee was united in marriage to Frances Gould in Dubuque, Iowa. He has lived in Portage since 1974 where he was the Purchasing Director for Divine Savior Hospital. He also enjoyed painting and designed the 1976 logo for the Bicentennial of the American Revolution for the City of Portage which is still in use by the city today. Survivors include his wife, 4 children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and a sister. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother. According to Lee's wishes there will be no services.
