She moved to Endeavor, Wisconsin with her husband and three sons in 1974 where she worked at the M&I Bank, Big O's Cars and later operated The Tastee Freez in Portage, Wisconsin. She loved traveling with her husband Jim, in their RV. Her favorite trip was to New York City where she was able to skate in Rockefeller Center. She loved spending time with her Grand daughters baking in her kitchen, but really it was their little gossip session. Her specialty was Sunday roast, potatoes and that secret gravy. Lately, she enjoyed keeping in touch with her family and friends on her tablet. She was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and friend. Her infectious smile, contagious laugh and love will be missed by all. Survived by; her beloved husband James Garetson (Pardeeville, Wisconsin), Sons; Jamie (Wendy) Garetson (Naperville, Illinois); Brian (Bobbi) Garetson (Verona, Wisconsin); Jeff (Rachel) Garetson (Portage, Wisconsin); Grandchildren; Bradlee, Austin, Chelsea Raye, Trista, and Hanna. Private burial and service will be at a later date. In lieu of sending flowers or plants to her home, please send them to Trivoli Nursing Home in Portage, Wisconsin for the residents to enjoy. Special thanks to the nursing staff of Agrace Hospice Care.
