Ettrick, Wisconsin Larrydean Leslie Erickson age 79 of rural Ettrick died on Tuesday, December 12, 2017. Larrydean was born at home to Effie A. Walter on May 18, 1938 in Ettrick, Wisconsin. He graduated from Galesville High School in 1957, then joined the U.S. Army 101st Airborne Division and was stationed in Korea. Larrydean Married Marylou Furlong in December of 1964. Larrydean was employed for 34 years with Mannstedtt and Sons in LaCrosse, WI. Larrydean was an avid sportsman, was a great story teller, and had a real passion for farming. He enjoyed spending time restoring Farmall tractors, with his dog Capone by his side. Larrydean loved spending time with his son Dan at the shop. Larrydean is survived by his children; Daniel (Brenda) Erickson of Ettrick; Dawn (Robert) Mattson of Ettrick; Rachel (Brian) Berzinski of Ettrick; Sisters Edna (Leroy) Webb of LaCrosse, WI and Gloria (Jack) Austin of Hixton, WI. Survived by grandchildren Amanda (Nicklaus) Hoeth; Brock Erickson; Cole Berzinski; Molly Berzinski; Brylee Erickson; Eric Mattson all of Ettrick and a great grandson Samuel Hoeth, many nephews, cousins and friends Larrydean was preceded in death by his grandparents Edward and Amelia Walter, his parents and a grandson Joshua Dean Dahl A celebration of life will be held from 4 till 8 p.m. on Saturday December 16, 2017 at "The Shop" 22695 West Ave. in Ettrick.
