Portage, Wisconsin Karla Kay Joyce, Age 76 of Portage, Wisconsin died on July 31, 2023, at the UW Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. Kay was born on August 21, 1946, in Stevens Point, WI to Arthur and Arvilla (Rials) Kortness. She married Mike Joyce on May 30, 1998, he preceded her in death on Aug. 16, 2021 Kay enjoyed the outdoors, loved hunting and fishing and creating crafts. She enjoyed taking care of family and friends, she was happy when she was feeding others. Karla is Survived by her son Scott Miller of Neenah, WI; Daughters Heather Morgan of Beaver Dam, WI; Tanya Miller of Portage, WI; Stepchildren Terry Pat (Lisa) Joyce; Michelle Joyce (Brad); Lori (Rick) Wipperfurth; Kevin Joyce. A sister-in-law Judy Gray; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. Karla was preceded in death by her parents, husband Mike, two brothers, a grandson Juston and her beloved pet dogs: Jackpot and lucky. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 6, 2023, at the KRATZ FUNERAL HOME, Portage. Public visitation will be held from noon until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be private, at the St. Mary Cemetery in Briggsville, WI
