June D. "Bunnie" Koroch, age 79 years died on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at the Divine Savior Hospital in Portage. She was born on November 27, 1931 in Sauk County, the daughter of Paul and Mildred (Blacklock) Kirner. June married Fred Koroch on June 9, 1956. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing with her husband and watching all the many birds that gathered at the feeders. Survivors include her husband - Fred; a son - Edward (Linda) Koroch of Madison; two grandchildren - Jason Van Wormer and Stephanie (Tommy) Koroch Duell; three great grandchildren - Taylor, Cayden and Adrianah Duell all of Madison; five sisters - Joyce Herwig of Arlington, WI, Joan (Walter) Konkel of Portage, Janice Frank of Baraboo, Jackie Healy of Arlington, TX and Jeanne Baertsch of Portage; two brothers - Ronald (Arlene) Kirner of Lodi and Larry Kirner of Portage; many nieces and nephews and her canine buddy, Molly. June was preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother, 3 brothers in law - Stuart Herwig, Rick Baertsch and Everett Frank; a niece - Pam Van Swol and a nephew - Ricky Van Swol. June will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be private and inurnment will be at a later date. Service Details.
