Joyce Elinor Schulze, age 87 years, of Portage, died on Friday, August 6, 2010 at the Columbia Health Care Center in Wyocena with her daughters by her side. She was born on January 3, 1923 in Dekorra Township, Columbia County to Clyde and Iva (Cuff) Robson. Joyce has lived in Portage all her life where she was a homemaker and had worked part-time at the Portage Bakery. She was married to Thomas Sanderson who preceded her in death in World War II and later to John "Jack" Schulze who also preceded her in death. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Survivors include 2 Daughters - Ellen Swan of Fond du Lac and Carol (James) Brancel of Briggsville; 6 Grandchildren - James (Dawn) Swan of Pardeeville, Tyson (Abby) Swan of Westfield, Michael (Jill) Foley of Madison, Jason Brancel of Elkhorn, Ryan (Sharon) Brancel of Sun Prairie, Brooke Brancel of Franklin; 7 Great Grandchildren - Wyatt Swan, Ali Swan, Troy Swan, Holly Swan, Madeline Brancel, Hans Brancel and Sarah Foley; 2 Brothers - Clint (Harriet) Robson of Appleton and Claire (Natalie) Robson of Poynette and 2 Sisters - Muriel Getchel of Portage and Hildred (Ralph) Jacobs of Westfield. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas Sanderson in 1945, her second husband, John "Jack" Schulze in 1979, a son - Robert Sanderson in 1981 and a brother - Clifford Robson in 2010. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Portage with Father James Murphy and Rev. Barbara Bolz co-officiating. Inurnment will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Portage. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 Am until 11:00 AM .
