John Joseph Arn, age 53 years, died on Monday, October 31, 2011 at the St. Mary's Hospital in Madison. He was born on October 21, 1958 in Portage to John and Bernice (Warnke) Arn. John has lived in Portage all his life where he graduated from Portage High School in 1977. He was the #1 Portage Warrior Fan and would be seen at most of the Portage athletic events cheering on his team. John was also a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and was active in the Special Olympics. Survivors include his Sister - Jane Wenker of Portage; Nephews - Mike (Sue) Wenker of Stoughton and Jon (Deana) Wenker of Briggsville; Great Nieces and Nephews - Danielle, Dylan, Ethan, Keana and Bronte. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Portage with Rev. Dick Inglett officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Portage. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10:00 until 11 AM. A very special thank you to the staff at Northview Manor.
