Janice Marie Krocker, age 78 of Portage, WI died on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison, WI. Janice was born in Milwaukee, WI on June 6, 1945, to Henry and Loretta (Waskiewicz) Kurkiewicz. She was an avid bowler, enjoyed cooking and baking, loved crocheting and always wanted to make something for someone. She liked to work in her garden, she was the #1 fan of J&T softball and Krocker Motorsports. Her house was always open to ALL the kids - no matter what they needed! She was ALWAYS up for a game night. Jan is survived by her siblings- Robert (Carol) Kurkiewicz, Karen Smith, Walter Kurkiewicz. Her kids -Jeffrey (Marian) Krocker, Janel Mattfeldt, Jason (Sabrina) Krocker, Jolene (Brian) Richey, Her grandkids Matthew Frosch, Brittani (Adam) Salas, Kayla (Ryan) Glynn, Ryan Mattfeldt, Taylor (Reilly) Krocker, Cole Mattfeldt, Jordan Steinmetz, Halley Krocker, Maesyn Mattfeldt, Sierra Krocker, Drake Richey. Her 2 special grandkids-Christian and Layne Morrin. Great grandchildren- Teddy Salas and Baby Boy Glynn. She is Preceded in death by her son Clayton, her father Hank, mother Loretta and brother Dick. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at the Kratz Funeral Home in Portage, Wisconsin, A public visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Following the service a reception will be held at Dino's in Portage, WI.
