Janet Elaine Irion, age 51, died on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at the University Hospital in Madison. She was born on June 18, 1958 in Santa Maria, CA to Farber and Elaine (Kluth) Irion. Janet has lived in Portage many years where she was currently a Handicap Bus Driver for the Portage School District. She was a member of Cross of Christ Lutheran Church. Janet also enjoyed scrapbooking, drawing and crocheting. Survivors include - 2 Daughters - Michelle (Russ) Morgan and Emily Mahl both of Portage, 3 Grandchildren - Kathrine, Austin and Spencer, Brother - Trever Irion of Montello, best friend - Karen Wetzel and relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 7:00 PM at the Picha Funeral Home, Portage with Pastor Scott Schultz officiating.
