On Friday August 6th 2021, Jacob Kenneth Dimock, born December 23rd 1997 to Carrie (Atkinson) and Chad Dimock, loving son and brother passed away at the age of 23. Jacob was a graduate of Portage High School class of 2016. He enjoyed playing baseball and was an avid Steeler fan. Jacob loved and was loved by many. He was compassionate and caring with a heart of gold. He was snarky and sarcastic and loved to make people laugh. He lived with passion and pain and now is at peace. He is survived by his parents, Chad and Carrie, his brothers, Zachary Michael and Hunter Everette, half siblings Leah and Ryan Crocker, his grandparents Robert and Mary Dimock, Janet Atkinson, Gary and Ginger Atkinson, and great-grandmother Ellen Harrison. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Jacob battled addiction in his final years. The family sincerely hopes that friends seek help and don't follow this path.  A Memorial Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Kratz Funeral Home in Portage.
