Herman Edward Herrick, age 99 years of Portage, died on Saturday, January 1, 2011 at the Tivoli Healthcare in Portage. He was born on September 15, 1911 in Stevens Point, WI to Nicholas and Francis Herrick. He worked at the Ladish Drop Forge in Cudahy, WI where he retired at age 65 after many years. He also enjoyed fishing. Survivors include 10 Children - Raymond (Shirley) Plasky of Plover, James (Elaine) Herrick of Beaver Dam, Joe (Marlene Herrick of Beaver Dam, John (Christine) Herrick of Portage, Jerome (Sharon) Herrick of Beaver Dam, Ole (Janis) Tollefson of Montello, David (Sharon) Herrick of Beaver Dam, Keith (Doreen) Herrick of Beaver Dam, Roger (Linda) Hungerford of Montello and Jeff Herrick of Beaver Dam; 37 Grandchildren and 31 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife - Alice in 1981, parents, 4 brothers, 4 sisters and a Granddaughter.
