Gregory Michael McGinley, age 49, died on Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at Divine Savior Hospital in Portage. He was born on October 31, 1963, in Viroqua to Patrick and Lois (Croninger) McGinley.   Greg grew up in the Gays Mills area where he attended North Crawford High School and later UW- La Crosse. Greg worked for the Postal Service for 11 years. He lived in the Portage area the past 20 years. Greg was an avid Packers and Brewers fan who enjoyed fishing and deer hunting. He listened to classic rock, particularly Boston. He especially cared for his family and friends and welcomed anyone as if they were his own.   Remaining family include two sons, Andon McGinley of Madison and Eryn McGinley of Portage; father, Patrick McGinley of Gays Mills; three siblings, Kevin (Michele) McGinley of Blanchardville, Maureen Speck of Iola, and Pat (Lynne) McGinley of Poynette. He was preceded in death by his mother.   A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2013, at the Picha Funeral Home, Portage, from 5 - 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Greg McGinley Memorial Fund set up at Summit Credit Union. Memorial gathering to take place in Gays Mills at a later date.   Little Did We Know That Morning Little did we know that morning God was going to call your name.
