Grace R. Ebert, 67, of Portage, died July 10, 2017, at Divine Savior Healthcare in Portage. Grace was born Dec. 29, 1949, in Portage, to Gustave and Dorothy (Rihn) Ebert. Grace attended grade school in the town of Lewiston and graduated from Portage High School. Grace was an avid sports fan, enjoying the Badgers, Packers and Brewers. She enjoyed playing cards and doing crafts. Grace had a love for animals and always had to have her nails done. Grace is survived by her brother, Paul (Toni) Ebert of Portage; sister, Lois (John) Slepicka of Endeavor; brother, Ralph Ebert of Endeavor; nephews, Cory Ebert, Telo (Kim) Ebert; niece, Jessica (TJ) Cross; and four great-nieces. Grace was preceded in death by her parents; stepmom, Ramona; and two stepbrothers, David and Steven Sletten. Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Monday July 17 at the Kratz Funeral Home - Portage (www.kratzfuneralhome.com). Chaplin Nancy Davis will be officiating. Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
