Gordon Winfield Sutfin, age 82 years of Portage died on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at Our House Memory Care in Wisconsin Dells. He was born on May 28, 1931 in Portage to Winfield and Leota (Kleist) Sutfin.   Gordon has lived in Portage his entire life where he had worked for the City of Portage Street Dept. for many years and had also owned Creative Concepts in downtown Portage for years. On July 17, 1954 he was united in marriage to Florence Grannemann at St. John's Lutheran Church in Portage; she preceded him in death on December 20, 2012. Gordon had also served in the Wisconsin National Guard. He enjoyed square dancing, card playing, and loved his dogs.   Survivors include 4 children, Dave (Janet) Sutfin of Portage, Kathy (Michael) Kuhl of Fountain Hills, AZ, Mary (David) Lehman of Portage and Mark (Jean) Sutfin of Neillsville, 11 grandchildren, Tom, Matt, Heather, Crystal, Amanda, Kaitie, Kelsey, David, Amy, Jaimie and Brian, 11 great grandchildren and a brother Charles Sutfin of Portage. Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Harold.   Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 12, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. John's Lutheran Church, Portage with Rev. Alan Boeck officiating. Burial will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery, Portage. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 9 AM until 11 AM.  Service Details. Visitation
