Gordon A. Jensen, age 64 years, of Portage, died on Monday, December 14, 2009 at the Divine Savior Extended Care in Portage. He was born on August 23, 1945 in Chicago to John and Laura (Tinnes) Jensen. He had attended the Dorothy Balliet School in Pardeeville, loved working at Northwoods, had been a bagger at the Pick n Save, enjoyed music, horses, dude ranches, Packers, traveling and the Special Olympic sports and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Survivors include cousins, nieces, nephews, residents of Lake Place Group Home where he had lived since 1985, dear friends - Sandy Blankenheim, Diana Bush, Leona Geymann, Kathy Gray and other dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a half sister - Bonnie Brown. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 18, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church, Portage with Father James Murphy officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Portage. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 9 AM until 11 AM.
