Obituary

Gilbert "Gill" Leroy Hundley, 79, died Sunday, May 22, 2022, at home in Endeavor Wi. Born December 14,1942 to Carl Lincoln Hundley and Opal McMillan in Beloit Wisconsin. He proudly served in the U. S. Army from 1959 till 1962. He came home and married Loretta Floyd on August 31st, 1963 in South Beloit, Il. He felt very lucky to spend his career doing a job he would have paid them to let him do. He installed and repaired newspaper printing presses. He was a member of the Briggsville American Legion post 329 where he proudly served on the Military Honor Guard. He also served as a member of the Marquette County Veterans Service Commission. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Loretta. A daughter, Wonda Marie Haring, a son Patrick Scephis Hundley and a sister Clemmie Ehly of Janesville, Wi. Three grandchildren Magen (Jared) Adams, Kristopher (Abby) Adams and Danielle (Neil) Papini and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Michael Wayne Hundley, a brother Robert "Bob" Hundley, four sisters: Charlet Purdy, Betty Purdy, Remona Weldon and Bonnie Goldy all of Beloit, Wisconsin There will be a Celebration of Life luncheon on Saturday, June 4th, 2022, at 1:00 O'clock at the Briggsville American Legion Hall W8539 Wi Highway 23. Briggsville Wi. 53920.
