Gary Grant Knutson, age 63 years, of Portage died on Monday, November 14, 2011 at his residence. He was born on December 21, 1947 in Tomahawk, WI to Edward and Marcella (Zimmerman) Knutson. Gary has united in marriage to Barbara Ann Paccagnella on July 15, 1978 in Elkhorn, WI. He has lived in Tomahawk, Milwaukee and Portage and had worked in sales in the auto industry before moving to Portage where he worked for Contech Construction Products. Gary enjoyed flying electric planes, fishing, astronomy and reading. He also served in the United States Army during Vietnam as a journalist for Stars and Stripes. Survivors include his Wife - Barbara of Portage; a Son - Erik (Sara) Knutson of Tomah and Two Grandchildren - Gabriel and Avery; a Brother - Bruce Knutson and a Sister - Barbara Hombs.
