Obituary

Frank J. Adamo, Jr. (73), passed away October 31, 2026 following a brief illness. He is survived by his partner of several years, Diane Gomolka; daughter, Allyson Adamo-Parsons; son, Scott Adamo; four grandchildren Sofia Adamo, Isabella Adamo, Gregory Adamo and Ian Parsons; two brothers, Jeffrey R. Adamo and Terence V. Adamo; and a sister, Suzanne DeSanto. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Frank was born in Torrance, Calif. on November 4, 1952, the first child born to Frank J. Adamo, Sr. and Joan M. (Hegarty) Adamo. He was a loving big brother to his younger siblings and, in fact, tried to feed his younger brother Jeff an egg breakfast, although he didn’t know eggs needed to be cooked. He began taking accordion lessons at the age of seven and taught himself the piano and guitar and dabbled with other instruments. He was a talented musician, and music was always a big part of his life. He played in several bands over the years. He studied martial arts for several years, was a model train enthusiast, and was Mickey Mouse’s biggest fan.

Frank relocated to Wisconsin in 1982, where he lived out the rest of his life. He retired from the State of Wisconsin in 2022. After his retirement, he enjoyed updating the home he shared with Diane, working side by side with her in the yard, and taking walks together. These everyday moments were beautiful reflections of the love they shared.
