Eugene Lester Tiede (Gene), age 76, passed away on February 9, 2025 at the Winston Park Assisted Living home in Mesa, AZ.  Gene was born in Reedsburg Wi. to Lester and Josephine Tiede on December 8th, 1948.  He served in the Air Force from 1968 to 1980 as a radar technician.  He spent the remainder of his career as a computer technician for the Federal Aviation Administration in California until 2008.  Gene spent his retirement collecting tools and tinkering at his property in Lancaster, Ca.  He is survived by his wife Evelyn, Ex-wife Marlene, and children Larry, Mike, & Russell.

There will be a memorial service for Gene at Kratz Funeral Home in Portage Wi. on Saturday October 4, 2025.  Gathering starts at 2:00pm & Service at 3:00pm.
