Eugene "Gene" Ray Audiss Eugene "Gene" Ray Audiss, age 78 years, died on Friday, June 15, 2012 at the Agrace HospiceCare in Madison. He was born on August 13, 1933 in Endeavor to William and Anna (Hansen) Audiss. Eugene graduated from Endeavor High School, later was united in marriage to Ruth Miner in Portage on June 24, 1952; she preceded him in death on August 13, 2001. He has lived in Endeavor all his life where he was a heavy equipment operator for Gabe's Construction as a member of Operating Engineers Local # 139, he also enjoying playing cards, trap shooting and fishing.  Survivors include 4 children - Don Audiss of Oxford, Barb (Bill) Casey of Portage, Dean (Deb) Audiss of Portage and Bonnie (Ron) Kratz) of Endeavor; 11 Grandchildren; 6 Great Grandchildren; and a sister - Lola Richardson of Richfield, WA. Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sons - Richard and David, brother - Eldon Audiss and a sister - Ila Otis. Memorial service will be held on Friday, June 22, 2012 at 1:30 PM at the Moundville United Methodist Church, Endeavor with Rev. Julie Wilson officiating.
