Ethel Marguerite Davis, age 95 years, died on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at the Waunakee Manor in Waunakee. She was born on February 27, 1916 to William and Eliza (Waugh) Summers. Ethel has lived in Portage, Monona Village, Lake Waubesa, moved back to Portage and had been living in the Phoenix. She was united in marriage to Clinton "Bud" Davis in 1936 in Portage; he preceded her in death on January 5, 1979. Ethel was a homemaker, member of the Portage United Methodist Church, wonderful cook, avid card and bingo player, enjoyed reading, crocheting and loved to entertain family gatherings on Lake Waubesa. Survivors include son - Richard (Avis) Davis of Madison, daughter - Judith (Anthony) DeLucio of Kissimmee, FL, 4 grandchildren - Annette DeLucio, Julie (Jack) Fields, Eric Davis and Aaron (Rebecca) Davis, 5 great grandchildren - Tracy, Jake, Christopher, Joseph Jr and Charlotte Rose and 1 great great grandson - Braedon. Besides her 1st husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, 2nd husband - Russell Philips, grandson - Joseph DeLucio, 2 sisters - Ann and Vera and 2 brothers - Bob and Archie. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 30, 2012 at 11:30 AM at the Portage United Methodist Church with Rev. Tom Countryman officiating.
