Emma Theresa Rapa, age 95 years, died on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at Tivoli Health Care in Portage. She was born on February 5, 1916 in Waunakee, the youngest child of Mathew and Anna Endres. She was united in marriage to Chester "Baldy" Rapa on February 18, 1950; he preceded her in death on November 18, 2007. Emmy worked at the Weyenberg Shoe Factory, loved taking rides to visit friends and family, working crossword puzzles and watching Brett Favre. Survivors include her Daughter - Joanne Hughes of Prescott, AZ; 3 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers - Albert and Julius; and 6 sisters - Agnes, Regina, Margaret, Mary, Bertha and Lena. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at 7:00 PM at the Picha Funeral Home, Portage. Burial will be held at the Oak Grove Cemetery at a later date.
