Portage, Wisconsin Ellen L. Caflisch age 74 of Portage, WI died on Monday, February 19, 2024, at Tivoli Assisted Living in Portage, WI. Ellen was born on April 19, 1949, in Portage, WI to Floyd and Helen (Rost) Caflisch, Ellen was a nurse for many years at the Divine Savior. Ellen is survived by nephews Bill Bahr, David Bahr and John Caflisch; nieces Karen Caflisch, Lorna Caflisch Birdwell and Julie Caflisch; several great nieces and nephews. Ellen is preceded in death by two brothers Duane and Bill Caflisch: a sister Donna Willstead and a nephew Mike Caflisch. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2024, in St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Portage, WI. Rev. Greg Hovland will be officiating. A public visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. prior to the service on Saturday.
