Edith Bell Potter, age 82 years, of Portage, died on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at the Divine Savior Healthcare in Portage. She was born on August 26, 1928 in Portage to George and Doris (Hibbard) Atkinson. Edith was united in marriage on November 11, 1946 to Harold Potter who preceded her in death on March 14, 2004. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include 2 sons - Mike (Tina) Potter of Fond du Lac and Steve (Ann) Potter of Carmel, IN; 4 Grandchildren - Allison, Kelly, Kendall and Jessica; 5 Great Grandchildren - Alaska, Aurora, Stone, Parker and Pax; and a sister - Dorothy Pitman of Portage. Besides her husband, Edith was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 18, 2011 at 1:30 PM at the Picha Funeral Home, Portage with Rev.
